Angela Richardson is a 4^th year PhD candidate in the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program at Iowa. She is studying how sleep facilitates sensorimotor development in the Blumberg Lab. As a post-comprehensive exam student, she has experience as a TA for neuroscience courses  at Iowa and has a background in both biology and psychology. She is happy to work with the students of IVETS to assist with tutoring biology and psychology related courses.

Engineering Tutorial Center: Offers free tutoring for students in the College of Engineering who are taking courses that are part of the first four semesters of the engineering curriculum.

Engineering Peer Advisors: Peer advisors work with the engineering student success team to advise students on how to succeed as an engineering student at the University of Iowa.

Hanson Center for Technical Communication: Provides professional advising on writing, presentation, and communication skills through one-on-one meetings and tutoring.

Society of Automotive Engineers Baja Team: Iowa Baja participates in four annual official SAE competitions. Members design, fabricate, and race an off-road vehicle.

American Institute of Chemical Engineers: Professional enhancement organization that organizes student opportunities, volunteer activities, and networking.

Engineering Student Council: Representative organization that acts as a liaison between the undergraduate student body and Dean’s Office.

Society of Women Engineers: Networking organization for women in engineering.

American Society of Civil Engineers: Organization that sponsors engineering design competitions to provide real-world experience to student civil engineers.

Female Alliance of Civil Engineers: The goal of this group is to empower and unify women pursuing a degree in civil engineering, by creating a safe place for women to study, network, and talk about the experiences and challenges faced in this field.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers: Seeks to expand the student experience through technical projects, research opportunities, professional development, peer mentoring, and community outreach events.

National Society of Black Engineers: Supports black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

Biomedical Engineering Student Society: Seeks to expand the experience of biomedical engineering students at the University of Iowa by providing them with increased opportunities for professional development, social events, community outreach activities, and representation in addressing the Department's curriculum and resources.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Student Branch: An organization meant to enhance the learning experience of electrical engineering students by presenting them with real world engineering problems and solutions.
