Renewable:  Yes, for Spring 2027 if student stays within good academic standing and need still exists
Criteria:

  • Veteran or current service member who has exhausted all military educational benefits
  • Undergraduate students seeking first degree
  • Minimum 2.50 GPA and making satisfactory academic progress and promise
  • Demonstrated financial need
  • Must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with IOWA's Office of Student Financial Aid for the 2026-2027 school year
