My name is Morgan Lihs, and I am the incoming 2023-2024 President of the UIVA! This is my third year at the University. I am studying nursing, and I am a medic in the Iowa Army National Guard (68W). 

I have been involved with the UIVA for the past two years; this will be my third. I joined the UIVA my freshman year, instantly made friends, and wanted to get involved. Along with school and the UIVA, I volunteer at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC). I previously served as the veteran constituency senator for the Undergraduate Student Government (USG) this past school year (2022-2023). 

I enjoy swimming, running, reading, and watching movies. I also enjoy spending time with my family! I currently work in the Mercy ED and love helping patients in any way possible!

An important goal for the UIVA is to connect veterans and military students to the resources they need. I look forward to helping students get the support/resources they need, grow our organization, and have fun along the way!
