Matthew Miller is a retired Army Command Sergeant Major, with over 21 years of military service and four deployments to the Middle East. His military honors include Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, Meritorious Service Metal, Combat Infantry Badge, and the Order of St. Maurice. He earned both his B.A. in Public Relations and Masters of Arts in Health Promotion from the University of Northern Iowa.
