Veteran Peer Mentoring (VPM) is a peer support program that connects incoming undergraduate students with current student Veterans and service members with the goal of easing the transition to college life at Iowa.    Participants of the program must be willing to share experiences and meet with their mentor/mentee no fewer than three times during the semester.  

Mentee Eligibility: New, undergraduate University of Iowa student (summer or fall admits) and a Veteran or current service member.

Mentor Eligibility:  University of Iowa student who has completed at least one year at IOWA and a Veteran or current service member.
