Combat Dining In
The cadets of Golf and Hotel Flights had a fun battle of wills in a game of Capture The Flag at the semi-annual Combat Dining In Event of Detachment 255
Fly with Civil Air Patrol
Cadets have the opportunity to fly a small Civil Air Patrol aircraft with an instructor! They get to fly over the Kinnick Stadium, home to Hawkeye Football. Cadets also learn about the mission of the Civil Air Patrol and see if they have what it takes to fly!
Awards Dinner
Cadets participate in a special military dinner complete with several Air Force traditions including the infamous Grog bowl. Awards Dinner is a formal event with a guest speaker honoring the graduating cadets and awarding individuals for the hard work accomplished during the year.
