Each year, MVSS partners with the Pomerantz Career Center to employ a student veteran who specializes in career-related advising. This student veteran works jointly out of the MVSS lounge and Pomerantz Career Center. They can advise students on topics like:
- Cover letters and resumes, from tips on getting started to reviewing drafts
- Job and Internship search assistance
- Interview tips
- Resources for exploring occupations
- Information on Career Center programs, services, and resources
- General career-related questions
Walk-in hours for career peer advisors are M-F, 10am-3pm in the Pomerantz Career Center Services while school is in session in the fall and spring semesters. Ask for Matthew Whittle.
