The University of Iowa is approved as a training facility for veterans. The Office of Veterans Services is located in two places depending on need. The two offices together coordinate the University's services to the approximately 500 veterans attending classes and receiving veterans benefits.
The University offers undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in more than 100 areas of study, including ROTC programs in Aerospace Military Studies and Military Science, business, engineering, education, and in many areas of health care. Visit the Admissions web site for more information about applying online today.
Human Resources is equipped with a number of services designed to assist you in balancing work and life, managing benefits and finding opportunities for training and development.
One of the service member's most valuable assets is waiting at home. Families are an integral part of the service member's life during and after military service. At times, family members need others for support during difficult times. UI's commitment doesn't end with a veteran's benefits; it also includes providing useful information to family members.
The University of Iowa is committed to promoting excellence in education by attracting the most talented faculty, staff, and students. The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity supports the University’s aspiration to become one of the ten most distinguished public universities in the country by providing all members of the community with (1) expert advice, education, and services which ensure the University’s compliance with all applicable federal, state, and University equal opportunity, affirmative action, nondiscrimination, and civil rights laws, regulations, and policies; and (2) leadership and resources that support the University’s goal to increase the diversity of all University faculty, staff and students.
